Trend Alert: Military Boots

Trend Alert: Military Boots

Shoes are an essential accessory when styling an outfit, and each pair makes a different statement. Pumps make one look put together, Converse look more laid-back and flats are an elegant way of being comfortable. Military boots, however, are a great way to add edge to any outfit. They instantly add a rough vibe to any slouchy look of an oversized sweater and a legging.

Freshman Taylor Connors did precisely this with her military boots.

“I thought they were really cute and I knew they went with anything,” said Connors.

Not only are military boots comfortable, but they are also incredibly durable and a better decision to constantly wearing UGGs during the colder seasons. They provide warmth and a change to one’s ensemble. Much like their warm relatives, military boots come in a variety of colors, style, designs and lengths, each characterizing an outfit differently.

However, expect to splurge on the right pair because they will last a long time. When shopping around, they can range between $59 and $169.
