Game Of The Week: Sir, You Are Being Hunted!

I like scary video games, which is weird, because I get scared really easily. So when I picked up “Sir, You Are Being Hunted,” a self-described open world horror game,  I expected dark corridors, monsters and all sorts of other shenanigans.

Turns out all of that isn’t nessecary, because the majority of this game is set in open fields and on farms, but I was literally jumping whenever I saw my own shadow.

The game puts you in the shoes of a very British explorer, who has been teleported to some alternate reality populated by a group of aristocratic robots who really just want to admire your head over their fireplace, while sipping tea and boasting about how much of a fight you put up.

Within a mere 20 minutes, they’ve sent robotic dogs and hunters, a hot air balloon and all sorts of other objects after you that really just want to kill you.

All in all, this was practically a trip into my nightmares, with every shadow, tree and robot posing a massive threat. This game is out on Steam for $19.99, or on bigrobot.com for the same price.
