| WJ students love to brag about their lack of sleep, whether it's due to spending the night doing homework and studying or coming home late from a sports practice or game. In WJ culture, a sleepless night is often viewed as a sign of academic or extracurricular success. Likewise, to the Fairfax-based band Sing Me Insomnia, an all-nighter is only a good thing - after hours are meant for dancing the night away. After becoming a poprock and acoustic band in 2007, singer/guitarist Jarad Cunningham, singer/keyboard player Marshall Cunningham, bassist Wes Beale and drummer Jordan DePries began playing at many local venues, bringing their catchy sounds to the Capital, and of course, to WJ students. |
