WJ Students Head Back to School

After a well-deserved summer vacation, the Wildcats are back at it. With a year full of pep rallies, dances, spirit weeks and games before us, The Pitch is looking forward to keeping the WJ community in the loop.

To kick off the first spirit week of the year, everyone dressed up in their sleepwear on Tuesday, looked patriotic on Wednesday, donned some denim on Thursday and sported their class colors on Friday. Pep rally number one took place on Sept. 5 with exciting appearances by the WJ Cross Country team, cheer squad, varsity soccer, POMS and more!

After years of using up data in the classroom, students school-wide are ecstatic that the WiFi network has been unlocked and is now available to students. Wildcats have expressed varying opinions on the new Chromebooks being used in many history classes; some finding them exciting and fun and others calling them a waste.

As always, a great array of clubs and groups are available to all students, such as the Recycling Club (held in room 111 on the second Thursday of every month), the Feminism Club, Debate team, Science Olympiad, Tea Club and tons more.
