Potomac, Maryland is one of “America’s best kept secrets.” Or at least that’s what Bravo seems to think.

The Real Housewives franchise has made billions over the past 10 years and is the face of the Bravo TV network. The show features rich housewives who live an everyday life most would envy complete with glorious mansions, dream cars, chefs and maids. Though being a wealthy housewife has its perks, the drama these ladies have with one another is what draws millions of viewers in each week.

In 2010, Bravo aired the Real Housewives of DC, which bit the dust and wasn’t even renewed for a season 2. Now the show is back in the DC area and is even right down the road from us!

Bravo announced on November 11 that the Real Housewives of Potomac is set to air on January 17. The housewives who are set to star in the latest installment of the franchise include international model Katie Rost and Robyn Dixon, the ex-wife of a former UMD basketball player. Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan and Ashley Darby are also part of the season 1 cast.

Tune in to watch these local housewives stir up some drama on January 17 on Bravo.
