Dear past V,
I wish you could learn to embrace your friends while you could still see them. Although you didn’t have many, you should have tried harder to make meaningful connections with your fellow students instead of isolating yourself from them. Moving across the country during a pandemic will be the hardest thing (so far) that you have ever done. Make sure to be kind to yourself.
