Girls Tennis: Sept. 15 Win

The girls tennis team was victorious in their match against Einstein on Tuesday, with an overall score of 7-0. By both singles players and doubles pairs winning their individual matches, the team was able to maintain their two-game winning streak as they ultimately work towards an undefeated season.

According to sophomore doubles player Sarah Breeen, while the win was encouraging, it wasn’t surprising. Based on the division levels of Einstein and WJ, and the girls tennis team’s history against Einstein, the girls were expecting a win. However, the team is still proud of this most recent achievement.

“We’ve all been working hard at practice, and it’s definitely paying off,” said Breen. “With two wins behind us already, I think we’re all feeling confident and hoping for a successful season.”

The hopes to keep up this level of intensity to defeat Churchill on Thursday.
