Varsity Girls Volleyball: Sept. 24, 3-0

The girls volleyball team stands alone as the only undefeated team at WJ. On Thursday, the Wildcats cruised over the Quince Orchard Cougars in straight sets by a score of 25-20, 25-11 and 25-23.

The team is off to their best start in years, which can only be explained to team chemistry.

“Our chemistry means everything to us,” said junior mid Jenny Zelenko. “We have so much fun when we’re on the court, winning is just a bonus.”

In set totals this year, the Cats have dominated, having only dropped one set to B-CC earlier this week. Another bonus to the team has been as the wins pile up, so do the fans.

“The fans have been amazing this year, much of our success comes from their support,” said Zelenko.

The team will try to continue their hot streak as they face off against Whitman on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 3:30 on their home court of WJ.
