Nyomi Fox, Print Editor-in-Chief

This is Nyomi's second - and final - year with The Pitch! Although she'd much rather be in room 193 with the whole staff (under normal circumstances), she's thrilled to be both an Editor-in-Chief and an illustrator during an unprecedented year of journalism. When she's not Zooming or writing, Nyomi likes to watch rain, make paninis, or dive into some creative project.

For this Joker portrait, a blend of colors were smoothly incorporated. In contrast to her pencil sketch, Phamm explained, sometimes colors that seem like they are totally out of the color palette is what really brings the piece together. In this specific piece, the abstract additions were subtle blues and purples.
