In a shocking turn of events, readership of WJ’s online newspaper, “The Pitch Online,” increased by 50 percent. Marissa Nardella, online Editor-in-Chief of the unknown media outlet, was overjoyed with the website’s new momentum.

“I always knew my hard work would pay off,” said Nardella, “all it took was 45 emails and a couple hundred Facebook messages.”

The Pitch Online was lucky enough to meet up with the student who increased the website’s viewership.

“I opened up internet explorer and it just popped up,” said junior Mollie Serafini. “I immediately closed the website and switched over to Google Chrome.”

While the Pitch Online may have a smaller viewership than most news outlets, Nardella vows that it will not stop generating content.

“All writers are still expected to publish seven articles a month,” said Nardella as she marked down the grades of every student in the class, “I personally love reading all of the wonderful articles.”
