Remember the Matrix? Remember how cool it was when you saw Neo dodge bullets for the first time? Remember when the Matrix game was absolute trash and made you feel like you couldn’t dodge a softball thrown by a three year old? Well consider SuperHot (PC), the spiritual successor to the Matrix game. SuperHot seems like a boring, generic first-person shooter with terrible graphics (everything is white, except for enemies, they’re red) but you soon learn the gimmick that makes this game awesome. Time only moves when you do. It’s hard to explain, but when standing still, time slows to a snail’s pace, while turning your head speeds it up slightly, while a jump makes time move normally. This means that all of your bullet dodging dreams can come true in one nice clean package, and for free. The game is currently in a trial mode, and only has four levels, but a full version is coming soon, and is expected to be priced at around five to seven dollars.
