On December 14, the newest Star Wars movie came into theaters to complete the most recent trilogy. It began with The Force Awakens that aired on December 18, 2015. The most recent The Last Jedi was satisfying and was entertaining for all of its viewers that range from die hard fans to casual moviegoers.

In the film, Luke Skywalker’s hidden location was revealed because a young, soon to be jedi named Rey persistently begged for a teacher to train her the ways of the force. Her unwillingness to give up on Luke becoming part of the resistance forced him to make a decision that changed everything. While the developments with Luke unfolded, a sith by the name of Kylo Ren and General Hux lead the First Order in an attack against Leia and the Resistance to have unmatched control of the galaxy.

The movie was very suspenseful; it had great special effects and was very unpredictable. This can be seen through numerous scenes. It appeared that Luke came to fight Kylo Ren in one of the final scenes, but we later learned that Luke was still on his island and simply created an image of himself through the use of the force in order to distract the first order, allowing the trapped members of the resistance to escape.

This movie was a perfect conclusion to the everlasting famous series that does not limit itself to one generation of viewers, but is spread across all ages. The ending of The Force Awakens left viewers hanging with an ending cliffhanger scene that was Rey finding Luke after he had disappeared, and this movie was the perfect way to pick up off of that scene and satisfy viewers with a happy ending that completed the new trilogy.
