As the chaotic 2018 NFL free agency comes to a close, it becomes time for teams to start giving their full attention to the NFL Draft at the end of April. This year’s draft is filled with great prospects at every position, and some say the draft could be the best in a long time.

The draft this year looks to be quarterback heavy, with potentially four or five quarterbacks going in the top 10 picks: Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Allen, Josh Rosen and Lamar Jackson are all highly touted and had successful college careers.

The number of teams that need a quarterback and the number of potentially great quarterbacks there are in the draft will surely amount to a fun and exciting draft. Teams that need quarterbacks include the Cleveland Browns, who hold the first and fourth picks, the New York Jets, who have the third pick and the Buffalo Bills, who are in possession of the 12th and 22nd picks in the draft.

With the first pick, the Browns are almost certainly going to take a quarterback. There have been various reports that the pick is going to come down to Darnold and Allen. Darnold is widely considered to be the best quarterback in the draft class and Allen has the strongest arm and one of the highest potentials of all the quarterbacks in the draft class.

Besides the quarterbacks, other players that will probably be taken in the top 10 are running back Saquon Barkley and defensive end Bradley Chubb.

Barkley is being touted as a once in a generation player and is the consensus number one player in the entire draft class. Many analysts say that Barkley is the best running back and perhaps the best player, in the past 20 years of college prospects.

Chubb is widely considered the best defensive player in this year’s draft. He’s had one of the most dominant seasons by a collegiate defensive player in a long time, and will surely be a top 10 overall pick in the draft.

The draft will start Thursday, April 25, at 8:00 p.m. It’s being broadcasted by two national networks: Fox and ABC and four cable networks: ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and NFL Network.
