With less than two months to go before the final release of Avengers: Endgame, fans are kicking things off with a spectacular start. With the last piece of the story complete after the release of Captain Marvel this past weekend, it seems that according to the spoilers released for Endgame, that the story will have an epic conclusion.

As the typical standard, with all Marvel Cinematic Universe films, one of the post-credit scenes of Captain Marvel led straight into Endgame, shocking many fans. This post-credit unlike most might have spoiled the timeline of the upcoming movie.

In the credit scene for Captain Marvel, the Avengers who have been left on Earth are looking over Nick Fury’s (Samuel L. Jackson)  pager given to him by Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) after he faded away in Avengers: Infinity War. Not long after the transmitting signal from the pager stops, Captain Marvel shows up asking where Fury is.

The scene was a big surprise for most fans since it was a complete offset from the rest of the movie. Based off the scene it was clear that it came from Endgame which has been a complete mystery for the public until now.

Captain America (Chris Evans) seems to have a completely different look both in the post-credit and the teaser from the Super Bowl TV spot. The post-credit shows him with his full-on beard from Infinity War – while the Super Bowl TV spot shows him in his original clean-shaven look. At first glance, it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but when looking deeper into the timeline, it seems like Cap’s new look is a clue that the post-credit scene will take place early on in Endgame.

Captain Marvel will indeed return to Earth shortly after Thanos’s (Josh Brolin) snap, and she’ll appear out of the blue at the Avengers base just as they try to decipher the mystery of the pager that Nick Fury left behind. It looks like Carol Danvers will show up pretty early on in the movie for the final battle against Thanos as soon as Tony Stark ( Robert Downey Jr.) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) return.

The remaining Avengers don’t know what happened to them and we have no idea how Tony Stark and Nebula return to Earth, but Disney’s accidental spoiler footage release at its shareholder meeting makes it clear that they will make it back. Nebula is a very important part of the story and seems to know where Thanos is hiding. The footage reveals Nebula saying, “I know where he is,” and the scene shifts as she steps out of the shadow and comes forward. She says “While he was perfecting me, he’d talk about where he would go when it was all finished.”

Whether Thanos told his daughters the truth about this planet is the big question but it’s a big reveal for what might happen. Thanos does seem to have completed his mission, which is seen in the Endgame trailer and is depicted on a quiet planet, walking through crops. The state in which Thanos might be in isn’t yet known to fans, but these spoilers reveal an interesting conclusion to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“Avengers: Endgame” launches on April 26, and Marvel should release one more trailer in the coming weeks before the movie hits the big screen.
