Up at bat: Changing teachers
“With switching, I find that it is difficult to make new friends in my classes with the new schedule.” -Yibela Gebretsadik, 10
“A pro would be if you switch out of a teacher who you don’t like their teaching style, you can switch to a better teacher and also have a better assortment of classmates.” – Max Greenbaum, 11
“Switching classes is beneficial because you can get a teacher you really want to get which can help you improve your academics, it [switching teachers] just helps you preform better.” – Rissel Anog-Alba, 12
“I think that a con would be when you memorize a teacher habits. You have to relearn their style, some teacher might expect you to write something on a test one way while another teacher writes it another way. But you also get a new teacher which can be seen kind of both ways as a pro and a con.” – Keegan Trostel, 11
