  • After taking a hard foul, sophomore Norah Youssef takes her first free throw attempt. Youssef sank the shot and added a point to the scoreboard. Youssef had a stunning performance, helping the Wildcats secure the win against Sherwood.

  • Freshman Mira Mann and freshman Ye’ela Zilberman sit on the bench, taking a breather. Zilberman’s ability to get to the hoop and Mann’s shiftiness created a dynamic duo on the court. “Playing with your friends helps build relationships on and off the court,” freshman Mira Mann said.

  • Freshman Mira Mann poses for the camera during a timeout. This past season, Mann stunned teams with her impressive three point shooting. Mann put up sensational numbers, hitting stat sheets with double digits every game.

  • Sophomore Norah Youssef brings the ball up the court, avoiding a ten second violation. “We need to start up the offense and waste as little time as possible,” freshman Brooke Brush said.

  • Coach Irvin Payne calls a timeout, bringing the team into a huddle. Payne discussed a play he designed for the inbound. “I drew up a quick play that will get us a basket, quickly and efficiently,” Payne said.

  • The ref holds his hand in the air, as he plays the ball inbounds. He signaled to the scores table to stop the clock until he put his hand down.

  • Junior Naamiah Coorke waits to check into the game for the Wildcats. She entered the game, immediately having a massive impact. She grabbed rebounds and put back many missed shots.

  • Sophomore Norah Youssef rests her hands on her head as she is awarded two foul shots. Youssef was fouled as she drove to the rim, securing the “and-1.”
