The boys cross country team headed into the 4A west regional championships ranked second in Montgomery County behind rival Churchill. The team finished first at the regional championships on Nov. 4. The team was led by seniors Alex Willett and Nick Regan, who finished first and second respectively.
“The boys team came together very nicely,” said coach Tom Martin. “I hope we can carry the same team mentality to the championships.”
Standout Runner: Alex Willet
Senior Willett’s 5K personal best of 15:42:93 is the 4th best time in the county and the best 5K time on the team. Willett won the 4A West Regional Championship with a 17:12:21 5K time, and will run in the state meet on Nov. 13.
