Shot in various global locations, The Philanthropist thrives on the story of Teddy Rist (James Purefoy), a money-obsessed philanderer who is the world’s dream billionaire. Rist takes intensity to new heights through his determination to give nearly everyone in the world food, education and good health. In typical Hollywood fashion, Rist is played by none other than a dashing British gentleman.

If you’re looking to escape this summer and run off across the world for an hour with a good looking ambitious rich guy, switch to NBC on Wednesdays starting June 24 at 10 p.m.

Here’s your to-be-expected reality spin-off of Gossip Girl. You have your tight-knit group of Manhattan’s socialite high school teenagers. All beauty, money, glitz and glamour. These teens may appear to have it all together; the confidence, the money and the ability to get what they want whenever they want it. However, even their confidence can be shattered by the pressure to be who everyone expects them to be.

This show may get annoying after a while due to constant complaining, crying, yelling and scheming, but if you’re addicted to drama and need your mean girls/bad boys fix this summer, look out for NYC Prep starting on Bravo at 11 p.m. and with a regular time slot fixed at 10 p.m.

~ Entourage ~

The HBO series continues to follow Queens, N.Y. native Vince Chase (Adrian Grenier) and his entourage throughout Hollywood, in constant search of success in the movie business. In a career that is often so fleeting, Chase’s entourage is always making attempts to keep his movie career alive.

The show will add a number of guest appearances, including cameos by Tom Brady, Lil’ Wayne and LeBron James.

Loyal fans shouldn’t be the only ones hopping back on the Entourage bus for season 6. Watch starting June 28 at 10 p.m. to add an element of humor to your potentially boring summer and fulfill your hidden aspirations to flee to Hollywood and achieve unimaginable success.
