The new comedy “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” hit Netflix on Mar. 6.

On Friday, Mar. 6, the Tina Fey-created TV show “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” hit Netflix, and comedy lovers everywhere rejoiced. The half-hour comedy starring “The Office” alum Ellie Kemper features a woman in her late 20s who has been trapped underground in a cult by a crazy reverend who claims the world is ending. The show begins with Kimmy being rescued from the bunker after 15 years away from the real world, and as you can imagine, hilarious hi-jinks ensue.

Kimmy goes on to move into a small apartment with flamboyant, fame-seeking Titus (Broadway star Tituss Burgess) and work for over-the-top, and wealthy Jacqueline (“30 Rock”‘s Jane Krakowski).  Between dealing with Jacqueline’s spoiled step daughter, getting involved in her first love triangle and trying to throw the reverend (“Mad Men”‘s Jon Hamm) in jail, Kimmy always manages to keep smiling and keep the viewers in stitches.

Kemper is custom-made for this role, and Fey continues her legacy as the queen of sitcoms from behind the scenes and in an amazing cameo performance. The only disappointment from this season is that it is only 13 episodes long. But don’t worry- the show has already been picked up for season two.

Here is a sneak peak at the show and its unbelievably catchy theme song:
