6 Things You Didn’t Know About James Lillie and the Golf Team

Senior James Lillie, along with sophomore Evan Shapiro, qualified for the state championship tournament, where Lillie shot an 81 and finished tied for 47th place. Lillie hopes to play golf for McDaniel College next year.

1. How were you interesting in the game of golf?

When I was a lot younger I got really mad ‘cause I was playing bad and I threw my golf ball across the green and it ended up hitting my mom in the knee. That got me grounded for a little bit.

2. What is something most people don’t know about you?

Whenever I’m listening to music by myself I sing…really loud.

3. What don’t people know about the game of golf?
