Video of the Week: Harlem Shake (PPP Edition)

Over the past few weeks, people around the world have created videos of themselves dancing to the electronica song “Harlem Shake” by Baauer. Similar to the 2012 hit “Gangnam Style,” the Harlem Shake has taken the web by storm.

WJ created its own version as a part of the annual (Water) Pong for Patients (PPP) event, which benefits Pennies for Patients, a non-profit organization that battles childhood Leukemia and Lymphoma. The video features senior SGA Vice President Ty Glover, in addition to many other students decked out in their PPP costumes.

This is senior Megan Chun’s third year on The Pitch staff, and her second consecutive year as the Online Editor-in-Chief. She is excited to continue her work on The Pitch Online with the new group of online editors. Megan’s activities (besides procrastinating and editing online blurbs) include Irish dancing, drinking smoothies, color-coding her closet, taking naps and watching cop dramas.
