Currently, students are reviewing the resumes of multiple mariachi bands.

On Mar. 31, WJ’s graduating class pulled a senior prank unprecedented by, and far superior to any previous class. In place of the traditional cow on the second floor, a few students, namely Janey Tietz, contacted the DC-based mariachi band “El Leche Loca” and requested they follow and perform for Principal Baker for the entirety of the school day. The innocent prank was initially well-received, but things quickly turned sour.

Students watched in awe as the determined band continued to trail Baker while she threw computers, staplers, bats and even several of the smaller freshmen at the musicians.

“I saw it happen,” said sophomore Chris P. Bacon, “And I wish I hadn’t…” Bacon was suddenly overcome by emotion and was unable to finish the interview.

Baker has been fined $10,000 for the ruination of the band’s instruments, costumes and dignity.
