The Bachelor focuses on forming genuine connections with different people. The red rose symbolizes interest from the bachelor to his wide variety of candidates.

In a season full of unsteady emotions and a search for love, 32 women come together and fight for the one bachelor. With weekly episodes airing, Joey Graziadei was chosen to be the bachelor for season 28. Through one-on-one dates and many rose ceremonies, the season finale left him with the toughest decision he has ever had to make.

Graziadei was left with the task of handing a rose to the few girls he saw a future and felt a connection with. This kind of job doesn’t come easy to him, but it is what he was faced with in order to complete the search of finding his person.

As the finale approached, episode nine of the bachelor left three women standing: Rachel Nance, Kelsey Anderson and Daisy Kent. This episode took all three relationships to the next level, giving Graziadei extra one-on-one time to connect with each other. After strengthening these connections, it was time for Graziadei to make the decision of having to send one of the girls home. After thinking long and hard about this, Graziadei sent Nance home, but this was far from the hardest decision he would have to make over the course of the show.

The second to last episode brought back 16 girls who hadn’t received a rose in previous episodes, and reunited them since filming this season. Fans were able to better understand each of the girls’ different experiences throughout the entire show.

After this recap episode came the season finale where Graziadei would finally address the looming question: who will receive the final rose. Kent and Anderson were the finalists and were able to reach the end in an attempt to find their true love, but only one would make it out of the show.

In the final episode, Graziadei had two very important conversations with the final women on the show. He started off by telling Kent how much he appreciated her, but she had a gut feeling that he wasn’t going to choose her. After taking a brave leap, Kent decided to leave the show, which made the entire process of Graziadei’s decision much easier.

Kent left Graziadei heartbroken, but then he was given the opportunity to finally be with the person he was eyeing from the start and give her the final rose. Anderson came back to have her conversation with him, and at that point she knew he would choose her. She was handed the final rose of the show and received an engagement ring to make it official. The couple are still thriving and have been engaged for about four months.

Overall, “The Bachelor” gave many the opportunity to root for different love interests and see how Graziadei was able to connect with all the girls. Even though there were many emotions thrown around between all of the people, the show gives us a chance to see firsthand how to connect with others on a deeper and more personal level.
