Up at bat: Should snow days affect spring break?

  • “I don’t think they should take days off of break. It’s not that big of a deal to me because I’m leaving early anyways but spring break is meant to be a break for teachers and students.” -Sidney Scale, 12.

  • “I think it’s not a good idea because it’s not our fault that it snows and we should keep our days. Spring break is really important to me and I’d rather have days added on to the end of the year.” -Kendall Alexander, 11

  • “I think they shouldn’t take the days away because I wait for spring break to come because it’s a nice break from school that students and teachers need.” -Avery Bennett, 11

  • “I think snow days are necessary but we shouldn’t take days off of spring break and just replace the snow days with code purple days.” -Rima Kahn, 9
