  • With filled stands and and hype students within them, the WJ student section did nothing less but bring all of the energy needed to help their Wildcats win against rival BCC. The sea of students dressed in black was louder than ever for this special homecoming game.

  • After the end of the 2nd quarter, students stand together waiting for the Poms performance to begin. Typically, the student section will sit down at halftime, but the energy they had caused them to continue standing.

  • From left to right: Juniors Kate Alshab, Claire Cosgrove, Natalie South, Maddie Kelberg and Ellie Hilton pose with security guard Kelly McDonnell during the game. With a usual divide between WJ staff and students during these events, the spirit and liveliness of the game was able to connect McDonnell, along with other staff, in never before seen ways with students.

  • The students look on as our Wildcats attempt to score on yet another fast-paced drive. The sight of smiles and cheering were fueled by the energy that the team brought on the field.

  • After finishing a show stopping routine, Poms bows to the screaming crowd. Poms did not disappoint, showcases new skills and choreography to their fans.

  • From left to right: Seniors Alejandro Linares, Edwin Tartt, JP Rakis, Jack McGuire, Jake Hilton, Jack Weiss and Yoni Liebstein painted their chests to read “MADCOWS” for this homecoming thriller. “We had to bring all the energy and then some for BCC,” Linares said.

  • After an exhilarating conversion on a 3rd down, the senior section goes crazy for the team. With such a close battle, this type of emotion was consistent throughout the entirety of the game.

  • Joined by our beloved mascots, cheer gets ready to rile up the crowd with their “Number 1” chant. The mascots followed the cheerleaders’ movements and received great praise from the crowd.
