WJ girls’ swim team reflects on victorious season

Maren Conze (11), Lianna Rosman (12), Sienna Karp (11), Isla Bartholomew (9), and Maddie Simmons (9) highlight the best moments of the 2022 swim season including their state victory. The WJ Girls Swim team brought home the plaque as Maryland State Champions.

Some notable stats include: The Girls 400 Free Relay with Conze, Simmons, Morgan, and Karp broke both the Team, State Meet and County Record! The Girls 200 Medley with Conze, Bingley, Karp, and Rosman also set a Team Record! Congratulations, Walter Johnson Swim!

Looking ahead at the 2024 Euros
The Wildcats softball team cries as they walk off the field at Bachman Stadium following their 12-6 loss to the Leonardtown Raiders in the state semifinal. The game was a heartbreaker as the Wildcats choked away the 6-3 lead they had held going into the top of the seventh inning.
