The class scheduling process is long and strenuous for MCPS administrators, consuming almost nine months out of the year. Although a lot of the work is done at the beginning of the calendar year, several changes in staffing and budgeting occur all the way up until the first day of school.

This star represents the Sigil of Baphomet and is the symbol of modern Satanism. The original star was flipped 180 degrees from the one shown in the picture and was made to symbolize Jesus or holiness. Satanists flipped the star upside down in order to have it stand for evil and trademarked it as their symbol.
