In the name of spring season, the pitch decided to pair up three couples through a compatibility test. The test asked a number of very personal questions including: favorite food, music and movie, most important quality in a partner and ideal first date. Then, the matched couples (Amir & Michaela, Sadie & Thomas and Connor & Lexi) went on a date of their choice. Here are their experiences that each individual had on their date.

Michaela:

What was your first impression of your date?

SGA President, sexy.

What did you guys do or where did you go?

We went to the zoo.

What was the best and worst part of the date?

Best and worst part was that we got locked in because we stayed too late and had to wait 2 hours to get let out.

What makes you and your date compatible?

We both love the zoo and sushi.

Did your view of your date change from the beginning to the end?

Yes, he’s more that just the SGA President, he was cool, calm, and collected while we were locked in the zoo.

Would you want to go on another date? Why or why not?

Uhhh, ya, he’s the SGA President.

Amir:

What was your first impression of your date?

Well I was late because I had to get a radiator for my grandma, so hers was probably not that good for me.

What did you guys do or where did you go?

We went to the zoo late on saturday night. The night was magical until we realized the zoo had closed an hour early, and we were locked in. We spent 2 hours inside the enclosures until someone finally let us out.

What was the best and worst part of the date?

The best and worst part was getting locked in. Our charact-I mean WE really had an opportunity to CONNECT.

What makes you and your date compatible?

We both like sushi, and in many Arctic cultures that’s a sign of astrological connection.

Did your view of your date change from the beginning to the end?

At the beginning I thought it was going to be very tense, but in the end we had very pleasant and provoking conversations.

Would you want to go on another date? Why or why not?

Heck yea! Because we’re just so gosh darn compatible! Xoxo

Sadie:

What was your first impression of your date?

He’s really nice and funny.

What did you guys do or where did you go?

We went to dinner at Mon Ami Gabi.

What was the best and worst part of the date?

The best part was when the cops got called. The worst part was the car ride to the zoo because it was scary.

What makes you and your date compatible?

We’re both really funny and we just work together. Our personalities are similar.

Did your view of your date change from the beginning to the end?

When I first found out it was him, i was like ughhh. But now im like, yayyy.

Would you want to go on another date? Why or why not?

I don’t know if I would because I’m in a committed relationship.

Thomas:

What was your first impression of your date?

When I first saw sadie, I was shaking because she was so beautiful. She was wearing her Walter Johnson varsity lacrosse jacket and I thought she was beautiful in it. It really complimented her eyes.

What did you guys do or where did you go?

We went to a nice french restaurant by the name of mon ami gabi in bethesda. We ate a lot of food. I only go there for special occasions like when im trying to woo a woman.

What was the best and worst part of the date?

The best part was the whole date and the worst part was after it because I couldn’t see her anymore.

What makes you and your date compatible?

We said all of the same answers on the questionnaire and we ordered the same thing at the same time. It was her birthday and I got her a little birthday cake and they lit the candle and sang to her. Then I knocked a guy out because he was looking at her funny.

Did your view of your date change from the beginning to the end?

Its kinda hard to go from perfect to less perfect because I think of sadie as an angel, but now I see her as more of an angel.

Would you want to go on another date? Why or why not?

I would definitely not go on another date, just kidding. I would definitely go on another date with this person because she is so charismatic and I love what she wears, her wj lacrosse jackets.

Connor:

What was your first impression of your date?

She was very talkative and she had a great sense of humor.

What did you guys do or where did you go?

We went to caltor and then went back to my house to play Fortnite.

What was the best and worst part of the date?

The best part was playing relatively well in Fortnite, and the worst part was leaving at the end of the date.

What makes you and your date compatible?

We have a lot of common interests like our love of sports and Fortnite

Did your view of your date change from the beginning to the end?

Yeah, I thought that it was a serious date at the beginning, but then got more laid back in the end when I realized it wasn’t an actual date.

Would you want to go on another date? Why or why not?

Yes, I had a really good time, and I’d love to go as friends

Lexi:

What was your first impression of your date?

He was funny and kind and overall an above average person, he was a great guy, but we kept our distance.

What did you guys do or where did you go?

We went to caltor first which is a great meal, and he bought me two brownies which was really sweet of him. Afterwards we went back to his house and played Fortnite. I kind of feel bad though because he didn’t win, and I did not win as well.

What was the best and worst part of the date?

The best part of the date was getting to hang with Connor because we had a great time, and he gave me good advice on how to play Fortnite, but the worst part is when he lied to me and said he was good at Fortnite and that he could win, but he didn’t.

What makes you and your date compatible?

We have the same sense of humor and have some of the same friends.

Did your view of your date change from the beginning to the end?

Well, he does have a girlfriend which kind of changed things. I thought things were going great and then I realized that he’s not the one for me and that I have to keep looking. At the end of the day he has a girlfriend.

Would you want to go on another date? Why or why not?

I would not want to go on a date with him again because he has a girlfriend who is really big and intimidating.
