  • Senior Jay Wandell attempts to hit a ball thrown across home plate. The Wildcats beat the Whitman Vikings 6-0 on Tuesday.

  • Senior first baseman Aidan Watts catches a ball thrown from across the diamond. Watts drew two walks and reached home twice in the win.

  • Junior pitcher Shaun Rudick pitches a ball from the mound as a relief pitcher. Rudick took over in the bottom of the 5th inning with the bases loaded and finished the game with 0 hits and four strikeouts.

  • Senior second baseman and pitcher Jay Wandell attempts a bunt at the top of the third inning. Wandell finished the game 1 for 3 with two RBIs.

  • Junior shortstop Connor McGee throws a ball over to first base. McGee recorded 1 RBI after going 1 for 3 at the plate.

  • Senior outfielder Jake Goldberg outruns a throw to first for a single. Goldberg reached the bases twice and stole on both occasions.

  • Senior Vance Bonior pops up and throws the ball across the diamond to second base. Bonior recorded two hits and a walk in the outing.

  • Junior center fielder Brady Chan slides into home plate to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead in the top of the third. Coming into the matchup, the Wildcats were ranked #2 in Maryland public schools and the Vikings were #1.
