Seniors Makayla Florian and Joyce Ohana helped run the opportunity gap and levels of racism workshop where they played an activity that showed how impactful the opportunity gap is. It allows students to recognize bias and avoid developing oversimplified ideas of intelligence connected to a certain type of peer in comparison to another, Ohana said.
